After almost three years of early access, Keen Games is releasing the full version. Set up your server in advance and on release day you and your friends will be in the game while everyone else is still looking for a place to play together.

15 October: Steam and PS5
Enshrouded leaves early access on Steam and launches on PlayStation 5 at the same time. The developers plan the Xbox Series X|S version for spring 2027.
Free for owners
1.0 arrives as a regular update to the same game on Steam, so there is nothing to buy.
Worlds are kept
No wipe has been announced: as with previous major updates, early-access worlds carry over to 1.0.
Combat and bosses
The young Vile Dragon and boss difficulty have been reworked, and enemies regain health in a new way.
Fishing and customisation
An updated fishing system, NPC appearance customisation and new ways to travel.
Performance
Better performance on low-end PCs and a longer draw distance, plus reworked lighting.
What the release means for your server
The server and the game must be the same version, otherwise your friends won't be able to connect.
We will update the server on release day
The server downloads the new version on every start, and on 15 October we will restart all Enshrouded servers ourselves, so you don't need to do anything.
Back up your world
Before a big update, click "Create backup" in the panel. If something goes wrong, we will restore the world in a minute.
Update the game on your PC
Steam updates the game itself. The server only lets in players on the same version, so everyone in your group needs 1.0 after the release.
No PS5 crossplay at launch
The developers have not announced PC and PS5 crossplay at release. The server is for PC players.

Enshrouded is limited to 16 players. Memory depends on the player count and how much of the world is already explored and built up.

5GHz Hosting provides Enshrouded hosting with DDoS protection and a game control panel. Plans in this section cost from €7.49 to €27.99 per month. A free 24-hour test is available on request, subject to available resources.
- DDoS protection. included in all game plans. Choose a location close to your players and check the latency during the test.
- Server resources. RAM, disk and CPU share are listed on each plan card. Hardware depends on the plan line and location.
- Unlimited slots. the panel does not limit the number of players; real online depends on resources, the game, mods and plugins.
- Game control panel. console, file manager, scheduler and backups to manage your game server.
- Backups. create them manually or set up a schedule in the panel. Download a separate copy of your files before migrating, updating or reinstalling.

How much does Enshrouded hosting cost?
Plans in this section cost from €7.49 to €27.99 per month. The final price depends on resources, plan line and location; check the selected plan in your dashboard before paying.
What do "unlimited slots" mean?
The panel does not limit the number of players. A comfortable online depends on RAM and CPU, the game version, the map, mods and plugins. Tell support these parameters and they will help you pick a plan.
How do I get a free 24-hour test?
Choose a plan and location, open a sales ticket and describe the game and expected load. Support will confirm the terms; if there are no free resources, they will offer the nearest date.
Can I move an existing server?
Yes. First save a backup of the world, configuration, plugins and mods, then move the files to the new server and check that it works. The migration guides are collected in the "Migrating from another host" section.

When does Enshrouded 1.0 come out?
On 15 October 2026, on Steam and PlayStation 5. The developers will announce the exact release time closer to the date.
Do I need to do anything with my server on release day?
No. On 15 October we will restart the Enshrouded servers ourselves and they will update to 1.0. We only recommend making a world backup in the panel beforehand.
Will my early-access world be kept?
No wipe has been announced: early-access worlds carry over to 1.0, as with previous major updates. A backup before the release won't hurt anyway.
Can I move a world from my PC or another host?
Yes, for free. Write to support after your purchase and we will move the save and check that everything loaded.
Can friends on PS5 join?
PC and PS5 crossplay has not been announced for the 1.0 launch. The dedicated server is for PC players.
How much memory do I need?
6 GB is enough for 2–4 players. For 8 people take 10–12 GB, and for a full 16-player server, 16 GB.
