How to read CPU: the value in percent is a share of cores. 100% = 1 core (vCPU / 1 thread), 250% ≈ 2.5 cores. The more CPU, the better the server copes with players, world generation, plugins and mods. For Minecraft the core clock matters too: Standard runs on Intel i9 up to 5 GHz, Premium on AMD Ryzen 9 7950X up to 5.7 GHz.
Which plan should you choose?
A guide by player count and server type. The exact capacity also depends on the modpack, version and plugins.
What to know about a Minecraft server
- Minecraft simulates the world on a single thread: TPS depends on the core clock, not the number of cores.
- A modpack needs roughly twice as much RAM as vanilla for the same player count. RLCraft, GT: New Horizons and Create need 8 GB or more even for five players.
Not sure what to choose?
Write to support: tell us your player count, core (Paper/Purpur/Forge…), plugins and mods and we will pick a plan. We usually reply in under a minute. You can also take any plan for a free 24-hour test.
Standard or Premium?
Both lines come with unlimited slots and DDoS protection. The difference is the hardware and support priority.
Standard
Great value- Processor: Intel Core i9-9900K, up to 5.0 GHz
- Memory: DDR4
- Disk: NVMe
- Support: standard
- For: regular Minecraft projects, a few plugins, light modpacks, small and medium player counts
Premium
Maximum- Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, up to 5.7 GHz
- Memory: DDR5 ECC
- Disk: NVMe Gen4
- Support: priority
- For: modpacks, large player counts, heavy plugins, active world generation, stable TPS
About "unlimited slots"
We don't limit the number of slots in the panel, so invite as many players as you like. But a comfortable, lag-free experience depends on the plan's resources (RAM and CPU), the game version, mods and plugins. On a small plan, many players can cause lag.
About backups, honestly
You create backups yourself in the panel (manually or on a schedule) and restore them in a couple of clicks. Download important files before changing the modpack or version, or reinstalling. When a service is cancelled, the server data is deleted permanently, so keep a fresh copy.
Supported cores and versions
