How much does a Minecraft modpack server cost?
From €7.49 per month on a plan with 6 GB of memory. Large packs with 200+ mods work better with 8 GB or more.
Which modpacks can I install?
Modrinth modpacks that include a server side. You search and choose the version right in the order form. Cobblemon, COBBLEVERSE and Pixelmon are tested and start automatically. Some authors put client-only mods or CurseForge-only mods into the server files, and such a pack will not start on its own; our support will see this and finish setting up the server by hand.
Do I need to install Forge or Fabric myself?
No. The installer reads the required Minecraft and loader version from the modpack and installs exactly that, together with the matching Java.
What about mods on the players' side?
Players need the same modpack in the same version. The easiest way is to install it with the Modrinth App, the CurseForge App or Prism Launcher.
My modpack is only on CurseForge, not Modrinth. What now?
Order a server without a pack and upload the pack's server files over SFTP, or contact support and we will help.
