Minecraft: plugins on Paper and LuckPerms permissions

How to install plugins, create ranks and grant permissions.

Installing plugins

  1. The core must be Paper or Purpur.
  2. Go to "Mods and plugins" → search by name → "Install". Or upload the .jar into the plugins folder through "Files".
  3. Restart the server. The plugin settings appear in plugins/PluginName/config.yml.

Ranks and permissions (LuckPerms)

Through the web editor: run lp editor in the console → a link to the editor opens → create groups (Groups → "+"), add permissions → Save → run the /lp applyedits … command it gives you.

With commands:

/lp creategroup vip
/lp group vip setweight 10
/lp group vip parent add default
/lp group vip permission set essentials.fly true
/lp group vip meta setprefix 10 "&6[VIP] "
/lp user Name parent set vip
/lp user Name parent addtemp vip 30d

To find out which permission a command needs, check the plugin page (the Permissions section) or turn on /lp verbose on, run the command as the player and see what was checked.
