First steps in the panel

How to open the panel, start the server, find its address and where to look if something goes wrong.

Where to manage your server

Your server is managed in the game panel. In your dashboard my.5ghz.host → "My services" every server has an "Open control panel" button, and you sign in with the same 5GHz account, so no separate password is needed.

Start, stop, restart

Open the server → the "Console" tab. At the top there are three buttons: Start, Restart and Stop.

  • The first start after purchase can take 5–15 minutes while the server downloads the game.
  • "Stop" saves the world. The "Kill" button (it appears if the server hangs) shuts it down without saving, so use it only if a normal stop doesn't help.
  • No buttons? Then the server is still installing or is suspended (the paid period has ended). You can see its status in your dashboard.

Connection address

The address is shown on the "Console" tab (the block with the IP and port) and in the "Network" section. Connect using exactly this address together with the port, for example 203.0.113.10:25006.

Console

The console shows everything the server writes. At the bottom there is an input line for server commands (for example, say Hello in Minecraft). If the server crashes, the panel shows a hint with the cause right above the console. This works for common errors: out of memory, client-side mods, the wrong Java version, a full disk and so on.

If something doesn't work

  1. Check the hint above the console: it often already contains the cause and the steps.
  2. Find the guide for your game in the "Help" section.
  3. Contact support: the chat in the bottom-right corner of the site or a ticket in your dashboard. How to write so that the problem is solved with the first reply is explained in the guide "How to contact support".
